Who am I?.
Let me introduce myself,
I'm Ruud de Jong, born in the year '59, and my greatest passion is motorcycling.
Years ago I decided to emigrate to Spain. The space, the beautiful weather and a relaxed lifestyle have encouraged me to do so. Of course, my motorcycle went with me and in recent years I have ridden quite some distance in the beautiful northern Spanish countryside.
Eventually I settled in the medieval village Besalu that is located at the foot of the Pyrenees in the volcanic nature park called "La Garrotxa" From all over the world people come to visit this beautiful village but not only Besalu but also the whole area is worth of seeing. Waterfalls, mountains, lakes surrounded by old masias (Catalan farmhouses) You will also find many nice traditional Catalan restaurants where you can enjoy cheap and fresh food. And do not forget the sea, on a 45 minutes ride you're on the Costa Brava.
The roads are beautiful and for a motor rider just a delight.
My own enthousiasm made me want to share this with other people from all over the world.
You can choose from two different kind of tours.
Garrotxa tour: You will stay for 5 days in an old renovated farmhouse, located in the hills around Besalu. From this house I will guide you to several nice places. During the week we make five different trips, we will have our lunch in a nice Catalan restaurant and in the evening will have dinner in the farmhouse. In the evening there will be time to swim, walk or simply relax with a drink on the terrace.
Luxury Tour Emporda: You'll stay for four days in a 4-star hotel in Vilaculom.
